The restaurant’s menu is based on great respect for Nordic cuisine, and is inspired by Danish culinary heritage and the National Museum’s exhibitions. Dishes include those using old Danish plant varieties and species, such as emmer, spelt, chanterelle and cress, combined with modern methods of preparation.
The museum restaurant is closed in July. You are welcome to visit the cafe in the foyer instead.
There is free entrance to the museum restaurant.
Tuesday to Friday 11.00 - 16.45. The kitchen is open 11.30 – 15.00 for à la carte menu & sandwiches.
Saturday & Sunday 10.00 - 16.45.
Extra days open:
New Year’s Day, Easter Monday, Constitution Day (June 5), Whit Monday, Boxing Day (December 26) and Monday in week 42. The museum is closed 24/12, 25/12 and 31/12.
