Tordenskioldsdage at the Royal Danish Arsenal Museum

The year is 1717. The country is at war and the national naval hero Tordenskjold is getting ready for battle. The cannons bulge and the warships are being loaded with ammunition and provision. The harbour is teeming with seamen and radiating life.

The whole family can experience the 1700’s era of Tordenskjold when the Royal Danish Arsenal Museum revives the famous naval hero with a lively sailors market, historic ships and fun children's workshops for a week in October.

The festival culminates in a spectacular sea battle in the Port of Copenhagen with frigates, cannons, lights and sounds.

Visit the Royal Danish Arsenal Museum 15-22 October, 2017.

There will be activities in both English and Danish.
