Wedding in Copenhagens most unique banquet room
Host your wedding party in one of the most unusual banquet rooms in Copenhagen and let your history become a part of ours!
The National Museum staff loves parties and wedding parties are the best! At 17.00 the museum will close for visitors and when the last guest has left you have the entire museum to yourself.
Often we will serve welcome drink either in the foyer or outside the garden followed by a dinner in the Assembly Hall and continue the party with bar and dancing in Restaurant Julian. And do you need to keep your guests entertained while you have your wedding pictures taken may we suggest a canal tour that ends near our entrance in Frederiksholms Kanal - or that we simply open one of the museum exhibits. It it free of charge to visit one of our permanent exhibits for your guests!
The total charge to rent the Assembly Hall in the Princes Palace including staff until 04.00 in the morning is Dkk. 15.000. Should you invite more than 100 guests the wedding dinner will be served in the foyer and in this case the rate is Dkk. 20.000 all included. (no VAT on this charge)
Catering is provided by Restaurant Julian in the museum.
Should you wish to have candles on the tables a fireman is required since the museum is a listed building - please, contact us for a full offer.
Come by for a tour of the museum and let us explain how we can make your biggest day a fairytale which both you and your guests will remember!
