Antler – a powerful material

Antler is the stag’s symbol of power. In the spring he loses the old antlers, then new and bigger antlers grow in their place. Antlers in the hunters’ graves show that the material was thought to have magical properties. Weapons like axes were made of antler and the material was also used for handles and harpoons.
