Trelleborg Vikingfestival 2024
From Saturday the 13th to the 21st of July you can experience one of Denmark’s largest Viking festivals at the Viking fortress Trelleborg.
Our annual Viking Festival brings you on a journey to the Viking age. You can experience a Viking market, smell the campfire smoke, taste the Vikings food or experience the Battle of Trelleborg with approximately 250 Viking warriors. During the festival you will encounter 1000 Vikings staying at our stunning outdoor area.
The main theme during the festival is Viking warriors, trade and crafts but also the cozy Viking life. Get close with the Vikings’ beautiful craftmanship, see the making of costumes, watch the sparks fly around the blacksmith’s craftmanship and follow the woodwork at the carving house. At the Viking stalls you can bargain a good deal and buy anything from Viking clothes, ribbons, wool, mead, weapons or stunning jewelry.
Experience the Viking warriors in the Battle of Trelleborg
‘The Battle of Trelleborg’, is the highlight of the festival. The battle is fought by approx. 250 armed Viking warriors next to the famous ring castle. The battle will take place Thursday, July 18st to Sunday, July 21stat 13.00.

Admission 150DKK pr. adult pr. day and 50DKK pr. children pr. day.
