Catherine is a Quaternary geologist and geoarchaeologist working with past landscapes, vegetation and climate - especially in relation to cultural heritage. She has expertise in sediments and the sedimentary analyses of material from a wide variety of archives and time periods, in the stratigraphic analysis of landscapes and in Holocene climate change.
