Henriette Rensbro works as curator and church archaeologist and participates in the National Museum’s church consultant work. Her field of work is churches and cemeteries throughout the country. Each year, the Museum makes more than 100 larger and smaller archeological investigations. Her PhD thesis on church archeology focuses on 50 years of archaeological investigations of church floors as a source for the layout and use of parish churches. In 2011, she received Charles Christensen's memorial grant and in 2013 she helped excavate St. Birgitte's chapel (H.M. Queen Margrethe II's tomb) in Roskilde Cathedral.
