Ivalo K.B.F. Olsvig is curator at the National Museum of Denmark. She works primarily with communication and teaching about the museum’s ethnographic collection and colonial history. She has a masters degree in Greenland and Arctic Studies (2018) from the University of Copenhagen, and her thesis is about the two Inuit, Arnarulunnguaq and Qaavigarssuaq Miteq, who participated in the 5th Thule Expedition in 1921-24.
Ivalo has a background as an independent consultant in her own company, as a culture and communications manager at the North Atlantic House, curator at The House of Knud Rasmussen on the EU research project Identity on the Line, and as a research facilitator at The Natural History Museum of Denmark.
