Peter Pentz is curator and researches in the mental signature of Viking culture and long-term cultural changes in Europe. He also has an interest in the history of Christian thought as manifested in iconography and art. His research in the history of Viking and Early Medieval culture has focused on the conceptual framework of the interrelation of artefacts, thought, beliefs and the arts.
