Learn about play at Young V&A
Meet Catherine Ritman-Smith
08.12.2025
Join us on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 from 09:45 to 12:30, for an inspiring talk by Catherine Ritman-Smith, Head of Learning and Engagement at Young V&A in London.
Young V&A, formerly known as the V&A Museum of Childhood, opened to the public on July 1, 2023, after a three-year renovation worth £13 million. The museum is a place where children and young people are invited to explore art, design, and cultural heritage through play and creativity.
MMTP has invited Catherine Ritman-Smith to Denmark to talk about the creation and organization of Young V&A, including how play, curiosity, and co-creation are central principles in developing exhibition design and internal structures.
The morning also offers a look into our latest results from MMTP – and of course plenty of time for questions, idea exchange, and dialogue with both Catherine and the MMTP team.
The event is free, but spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
