Moving Museums Through Play

At the National Museum, we want to play more with history. In MMTP, we experiment with how.

Moving Museums Through Play is the National Museum of Denmark's major play program, in which we explore how play can open up history in new and surprising ways. Together with Design School Kolding, we are developing playful approaches that bring the museum's stories to life for visitors of all ages – while also generating new, research-based knowledge about play in museums. The program is supported by the LEGO Foundation and will run until the end of 2027.
