Eat delicious food at the museum
We are happy to be able to welcome the museum guests, as well as those who just pass by, inside the cafe's beautiful, bright and minimalist setting.
It is run by Rud Christiansen and his team, who have run cafes for many years in both Denmark and Japan.
In addition, Rud has opened the cafe KAFFERIET in several locations in Copenhagen and has run the cafe at the Blixen Museum for the past ten years.
In Cafe Frihedsmuseet, the smørrebrød is called "rundtenommere" and is freshly buttered, round pieces of rye bread with hand-cut toppings and vegetables from the garden.
The cafe's premises are suitable for receptions, weddings, christenings and birthdays etc. - so just call Rud and get a good offer on +45 31326838
There is free entry from 10.00 - 17.00 - so you do not need to have a ticket to the museum.
If there are more than four of you, it is a good idea to book a table.
