Brede Works is closed

Brede Works and Brede Manor is closed at the moment, due to the National Museum of Denmark's cutbacks in 2018. The National Museum plans to offer booked tours in parts of the area from the second quarter of 2019.

The museum of Brede Works is located in Denmark’s largest protected industrial complex. Sound, light, film, and a multitude of other things, give you an insight into the story of the lives of ordinary people in the transition to modern society, as well as into the significance of industrialisation to daily life.

The ActiveTicket

With the ActiveTicket you can follow the virtual factory worker and tempt stories out of the machines workers used to clock in and out, large mobile phones and old train company uniforms. You can easily spend a whole day on a visit, full of experiences for you and all your family.

Interactive films and old machines

You can meet the people of the factory in interactive films shown between the old machines, compete with others on the production line and enjoy visiting the old factory buildings located amidst beautiful nature.
