The objectives of the museum

The Danish Music Museum shall stimulate musical interest amongst children and adults, laymen and specialists, music consumers and performers.

This is achieved by, amongst other things, exciting curiosity, asking questions and establishing a connection between sound and objects, between musical expression, craftsmanship and technological development.
