Management, Secretariat and Research administration
The Research and Exhibitions department has over 200 employees. The department is responsible for presenting the collections, which cover Danish culture and history in a European and global context, Mediterranean antiquity and the cultures of the world. Through research of the museum’s large collections of objects, archives and pictures, and of the Danish cultural landscape, the department’s researchers are able to produce new cultural historical knowledge.
