Weapons and Chronology

The pupils will be presented to six wars. Together we will go through history, so that weapons, war and and their chronology is linked to provide a historical overview. With every war, the pupils will have the opportunity to handle the weapons of the war and learn how it relates to history.

The purpose of the course is to show the pupils how advances in technology is part of shaping the opportunities of each war, as well as the pupils obtaining historical evidence, which can help them create a chronological overview.

Goals of learning:

• The pupil can use the development of the hand weapon and Denmark’s wars to gain an absolute overview of history
• The pupil will gain the knowledge about canonical points about Christian IV, the Thirty Years’ War, 1864 and 9/11 2001.
